Congratulations on your engagement!

Your wedding is a very important day. It marks the beginning of an life changing and lifelong journey. As your promises under God, we want to support you and help to make this a special occasion for you to remember.

Please ring one of the clergy so that they can arrange to meet up and book your wedding date. Next plan to join us for our next Marriage Preparation session which is held each year on the last Sunday afternoon in January at 2:30 pm.

A word about fees. Fees are set nationally by the Archbishops’ council and are set out below for this year. They usual go up about 5% a year.

Fees for 2008

  • Marriage service £344.50 (includes banns, organist and verger)
  • Publication of Banns £30.00 (If getting married in another church)

Extras

  • Bells £106.00
  • Choir £80.00
  • Heat (1st October to 30th April) £22.00 )
  • Playing CDs £20.00 (requires someone on the sound desk)
