You are warmly invited to join us!
8:00 am - early morning service in the side chapel
This early morning service is a quiet service of Holy Communion using the Book of Common Prayer. The service lasts about 35 minutes and about 20 people attend each week. Someone will welcome you at the door and help you to follow the service in the book.
10:30 am - main Sunday worship service with activities for children
This is the main Sunday service and has something for all ages. Plan to arrive a few minutes early. Parking is available out front or in the car park on Church Lane. When you arrive, someone will be there to greet you at the door and give you an updated notice sheet. To your left, you will see a carpeted crèche area with a sofa, cushions, colouring papers and soft toys. Baby change facilities can be found in the toilets. School aged children are welcome to join in the service. After the service starts children are then invited through to the Bricstan Hall for Sunday Club with their leaders. Sunday Club activities are for children 3 – 11 years and include a Bible story, games, songs and crafts. The services lasts just over an hour. Following the service, everyone of all ages is invited to join together in the Bricstan Hall for refreshments. We look forward to meeting you.
Chatteris Parish Church provides complete wheelchair access, a disabled toilet and a hearing loop. For those who can't come to church we take the church into the community holding regular services in our local sheltered housing: Swan House, Lyons Court and the Gables.
The Parish Church is located in the centre of the town of Chatteris. You can find us at PE16 6BA. Parking is found in front of the church, or along Park Street, or in the car park on Church Lane (PE16 6JA). The Bricstan Hall is attached to the church at the rear of the building.
The Vicarage is located on Church Lane behind the church. Church Lane is a one-way road so you can find it half way down on the right hand side. The car park is just past the vicarage. The post code for the Vicarage is PE166JA. The telephone number is 01354 692173

We support the Food Bank
Along with March and Soham, the Chatteris Food Bank is run under the Ely Food Bank and part of the Trussell Trust. Food is just the beginning! We want to signpost people for more support. Many of the volunteers, including the Parish Nurse, are provided by this church. More information about the food bank can be found by clicking on ABOUT US on this church website.
Foster, adopt, pray, give
Every year 40000 children and young people come into care in the UK. We want every child to have a stable and loving home where they can thrive. As a church family we want to support those who welcome children into their homes. Sabina Watson heads up our local network for those who have adopted or providing foster care in Chatteris. Sabina also helps to run our Toddler Praise group. More information about Home for Good can be found on their website: www.homeforgood.org.uk
You may be interested to know that the Catholics use our building for their weekly services. Weekly Mass is held on Sundays at 9:00 am. Fr Paul, brings a team from "Our Lady of Good Council" in March to Chatteris each week. Click on this link if you would like more information about the Catholics.
Chatteris Christians Together CCT is the name of our partnership with other churches in town. Together we pray for our town and for one another because we all follow Christ and hold to the ancient creeds of the Christian church. The CCT includes the Catholics, the Emmanuel Church, The Salvation Army, and the Parish Church. Together the CCT share in mission with projects like the Summer Holiday Club and Chatteris Food Bank. Although we have different ways of doing things, members of the CCT will not compete with one another. Instead, we work together and humbly recognize that God is at work in and through one another.
