CHATTERIS LIGHTS Christmas Tree Festival Open House

The Church will be open for the popular Christmas Tree festival. Once the lights have been switched on, everyone is invited to drop into the Church for our Open House.

Come and see the beautifully decorated and lit up trees provided by community groups in our local community. Come along to hear live music, enjoy a hot drink, light a memory candle or to hear more about Christmas services and events at Chatteris Church. A warm welcome awaits.

INFORMATION FOR COMMUNITY GROUPS …

Due to the reserving space required for running the food bank for our community, we will once again have a “first come, first served basis for trees”, so be sure to book your place early to avoid disappointment. A couple of pointers before booking:

If your charity or organization would like to decorate a tree for the church, trees must be lit with battery operated lights. Please note that there will be no mains power available. Please consider making a donation to our historic church for the opportinity to advertising your group to the wider community.

Trees are for charities, community groups and not for businesses due to the demand for limited space.

On the booking form, please advise us of the height of your tree so that we can situate them appropriately.

Please bring your tree to set up the week of the 27th of November. The church is open everyday between 9am and 4pm to receive trees except on Thursday morning, when the Food bank is running.

Please check out the link below to book your organisation’s free space. We can’t wait to see what everyone puts together in our community this year!:
