"When the day of Pentecost came, all the believers were gathered together in one place." (Acts 2.1) Following the example of the Apostles, we will gather to prayer for the Holy Spirit fire of Pentecost on the last night of 'Thy Kingdom Come.'

Are you a Musician? You are invited to join in.  Jan Payne is a musical director from Ely Cathedral coming to help us.  Musicians are invited to arrive for 6:00 pm for a brief rehearsal with Jan followed by a break before the service begins. The music follows simple melodies and easy to pick up. You may have attended a Taize service before or it may be completely new to you.

Everyone, no matter what you background, is welcome to take part. The Catholics and members of other churches will by joining us. You may or may not call yourself a Christian. You may or not sing. You are still very welcome to join us no matter who you are.

It is a time to rest in God, to let the words listened to and sung penetrate one’s being” so says Brother John, founder of the Taizé community in the 1940s. Taize worship involves music, singing, prayers, Bible readings and silence in a reflective way.  It is an experience you do not want to miss.
