Do you have children? We have lots of fabulous activities going on for children at the church. We want to help children and youth to be confident by knowing more about God's constant love for them.  Our groups are led by dedicated volunteers who have been checked and trained in Safeguarding. We look forward to meeting you!

Messy Church

On the second Saturday morning of every month (except August & September) Messy Church is fun for the whole family. Doors open at 9:30 am for registration but the program starts at 10 am. For catering purposes, please BOOK YOUR PLACES ahead of time and let us know if you have any food allergies.

Messy Church includes songs, games, crafts, stories and LUNCH. Our leadership team is made up of volunteers, mums and dads, who want everyone to enjoy being together. We ask for a contribution on the day towards costs to help pay for materials and food. Many in our town of Chatteris have brought their children for a Christening. They have made promises and are looking for new ways to fulfil these promises by helping their children "take their place within the life and worship of the Church". Messy Church is a great way to do this. We hope that the Messy Church family will grow into a welcoming community which nurtures the Christian faith in children, mums, dads and grandparents; Godparents, aunts and uncles; everyone in fun and creative ways. So, why not join in? This is your invitation. We look forward to warmly welcoming you.

Toddler Praise - Fridays

From bumps to babies, new parents are invited to come along to Toddler Praise. We are a friendly group here to support parents. We have lots of fun on Fridays during term time, 1:15 - 2:45 pm. This is for newborn babies on up to school age. We start with a structured time for 30 minutes with both quiet and noisy music. We have a Bible story and a prayer before making a big noise. Crafts are available for older children and coffee and tea are available for the adults. We welcome everyone.

Sunday Club - Sundays

If you have any school age children, they are most welcome to join us for weekly Sunday Club. After the first song in the service, we move into the Bricstan Hall and go into our groups for games, crafts, drama, Bible stories, prayers in a warm and caring environment. Schools' Work

As the parish church for Chatteris, we work hard to keep strong relationships with the local school communities. We work closely with the two primary schools, Kingsfield and Glebelands, and also Cromwell Community College. We have a team of volunteers on the schools team to take assemblies and lessons and also host visits to the church. Along with schools, we are happy to provide support for local uniformed organisations. We are always looking for new people to join our schools team.
